Each Oasislux Cabin Sauna Kit comes with an electric heater, sauna stones, and indoor seating. Our saunas heat up to 195 degrees Fahrenheit in one hour and can be used wet or dry for a true Scandinavian sauna experience.

In Finland, the rule for a truly deep sauna bath is that your feet should be above the heater. We designed this sauna to allow you to do just that. Sit on the top bench and allow your whole body to enter the hottest part of the sauna to take your sweat to the next level! Once you’re ready to take a break, move the lower bench to cool down. Cycling between the top and bottom benches naturally regulates the temperature without having to adjust the heater, giving you an epic sauna experience.

Thermowood Construction
Thermowood is made by heating softwood in a special indoor kiln to temperatures of 180 – 230° for up to 96 hours. Steam is used as a protective gas to help prevent the wood from cracking and damaging during processing.

Characteristics and qualities of Thermowood
The process causes chemical and structural changes within the wood, which alter some of its characteristics and qualities. Some of the characteristics and qualities that make Thermowood so popular include:

Dimensionally stable - The wood is exposed to high temperatures during the production process, deep into the core, causing all moisture and resin to be removed from the wood. As a result, Thermowood does not react as drastically to changes in humidity as untreated wood (reduced risk of swelling, cracking and shrinking), allowing it to hold its shape better. The wood does not secrete sap or resin, even at high temperatures.

Environmentally friendly - The cork used to produce Oasislux comes from well-managed, PEFC-certified forests, and since no chemicals or foreign substances are involved in the production process, Oasislux is an environmentally friendly material produced using only natural methods.

Rot and fungus resistant - Since the heating process breaks down the hemicellulose, the wood does not contain the proper nutrients, so rot and fungi cannot grow and develop.

Extended lifespan - Heat-treated wood has an average lifespan that is extended, meaning your sauna will last a lifetime!

Improved Insulation – Heat treated wood is more porous than untreated wood, greatly improving its insulating properties.

Easy Self-Assembly
Assembling our sauna kits is easy! All of our saunas are designed with the DIY customer in mind. All parts are pre-cut and slotted, so there is no sawing or cutting required.

Anyone with novice woodworking skills can build one in about 4 hours. All assembly is done in a simple, easy way.
